Express your interest in joining the New York Campaign for Early Literacy
If you are interested in joining the New York Campaign for Early Literacy, a statewide movement to improve student reading outcomes through evidence-based instruction aligned with the science of reading, please email Jeff Smink, deputy director of EdTrust-New York at [email protected]. The Campaign is devised on the principle that reading is a civil and human right and that all children can learn to read by the end of third grade with evidence-based instruction and holistic support inside and outside of school, beginning at birth. The Campaign is open to organizations and individuals, including parents, students, educators, school leaders, non-profits, businesses, colleges, policymakers, and others committed to ensuring that more New York students read proficiently by the end of third grade. We will be in touch with more information.
