From High School to College Success:

Are NY high school students getting to and through college?

We believe in a simple premise: the best measure of college readiness is whether students ultimately succeed in college. Yet too often, students, parents, and educators are given little information about whether high schools are actually preparing students to be college-ready when they receive their high school diplomas. To offer a window into one aspect of college, careers, and civic readiness, this “to and through” online data tool allows users for the first time to explore data for New York State’s public high schools spotlighting their 2012 and 2013 graduates’ college persistence and completion rates for participants in the state’s Tuition Assistance Program.
