Access to well-prepared, supported, and diverse educators is a critical equity issue for New York State. The Educator Equity Snapshot online data tool allows users to explore data about how school districts and higher education institutions are communicating their needs and priorities to each other and to future educators. The online tool and accompanying report The First Frontier of Equity are intended to spotlight the importance of greater data transparency, availability, and usefulness in teacher preparation.
