By centering the voices and experiences of students of color, particularly Black, Latinx, and Native American students and families, and those from low-income backgrounds, we create a statewide narrative that is rooted in racial and economic equity.

Through our data analyses, research, policy, and advocacy, we strive to ensure students in New York have access to the high-quality, rigorous and culturally sustaining education they need to thrive, from birth through college.

We work to dismantle the racial and economic barriers that both drive and perpetuate inequity in our education system.
